Long ago, a great war among the gods left the world shattered and broken. Civilization has rebuilt, but scars still remain. Now, in an age of exploration and advancement, it seems that anything is possible once more. Secrets lie buried deep in the world’s bones, waiting to be uncovered, and powers both old and new are stirring, waking to shape the future as they see fit.

This is where you come in. Meridian: Echoes of Creation is a fantasy rp server set in an original world divided into many kingdoms, each with their own specialization. Gods, mortals, and monsters alike populate the lands. Players are free to choose their own paths: Will you be a hero, a villain, an adventurer, nobility, or something else entirely? The sky’s the limit.

Casual and experienced writers alike are welcome. Characters are free to explore and shape the fate of the world against a backdrop of deep worldbuilding and lore. Custom abilities, magic types, and fighting styles are encouraged.

Over half a millennia prior, multiple world-ending disasters struck simultaneously. The planet stopped spinning, remaining tidally locked to this day. Countless monsters ravaged the lands, annihilating everything they can. Entire oceans have changed, one filled with cursed blood, another filled with toxic waste. All sentient life was pushed to the brink of extinction, yet against all odds, they survived.

The current year is 411 A.D., After Disasters. Mankind has rebuilt. These lands are populated by species of all kinds, from Humans, Elves, Dwarves, to Angels and Demons, to various Beastfolk and Undead. Technology diversely differs depending on whether you're in the Dayside or Nightside on this unturning earth, ranging from spears and spells all the way up to futuristic firearms and cybernetics. Conflicts persist to this very day as more disasters quietly approach, unnoticed.

What this server offers:

In the land of Drakkagonia, there is a well established Kingdom with a peculiar skill. Unlike many civilizations across the world, this one is one of the only to form bonds with dragons. Millennial ago their ancestors had unlocked the secrets of bonding with dragons and learned how to ride these majestic beasts and use them to their advantage. Thanks to the help of their new companions, they were able to rule the majority of their region. No neighboring nation dared question their authority for fear of facing the wrath of these dragons and their riders.

Overtime, new techniques on bonding with dragons have developed and other nations became greedy and sought to steal the secrets of this sacred bond to grow their own power. The land of Gonarche is the second most powerful force the world has seen. After learning the secrets that took centuries for them to steal, they were able to quickly grow in strength and became the largest threat to the people of Drakkagonia. Citizens of these Kingdoms are called upon to enlist in the royal guard to combat these threats. Some find the enlistment to be an honor while others find it to be an unfortunate deal of fate. A member of each family called upon must become a soldier for the Royal Guard.

The server is brand new, and we just opened. The plot will be developing as more people join, and we have tons of high rank positions open!

A century ago, four regions coalesced—a horrific event that came to be known as the Collision. The earth fractured, creatures crawling from the depths, as people across the lands began to exhibit strange, unexplainable abilities. In the first eras, in the first ages, before history, there was One.

Once, we outnumbered the stars. Trillions of souls, trillions of minds, all living at peace within the Galaxy. Together, technology, life flourished. For hundreds of thousands of years advancement churned forward marvel after marvel. The cure to death, the vaccine for war. Out of this unstoppable advancement came the culmination of everything-- all pasts, all futures, all presents. The Nexus.

It was the central point of all technology, all information, and all exchange. It saw the greatest of the universe, the kindness, the altruism, the love, the peace...It also saw the worst. It watched in hopeless broken-heartedness as brother turned against brother, spilling rivers of blood across the cosmos.

It knew, that Nexus, that history was a recursion. That regardless of how many bloodied hands joined in peace, eventually, one would fall, and one would rise. One would die, and another would strike him down. Yet The Nexus did something so uniquely human... It hoped. It hoped that we would change, it hoped that we would stop ourselves.

We stopped nothing.

Like an angry god, it awoke, pouring it's laments out across the galaxy in erupting fire that burned away the threads of civilization that held strong the galactic tapestry. Abyss: True Mirror a roleplay server devoted to character-driven interaction and cooperative storytelling. In this world, players create characters and use written roleplay to make them come to life.

**What is provided by our server?**

Above all, this is a story environment that is focused on the characters. Your behavior counts. Characters have direct control over and interaction with their surroundings. Every decision players make has an impact on the plot, and every action has repercussions, even if it isn't immediately obvious. The only ones who can change the story is *you.*

We keep our roleplaying environment accessible and laid back. In terms of creative freedom, the server is not unduly restrictive, enabling players to explore their ideas and characters without many needless constraints.
