Abyss: True Mirror a roleplay server devoted to character-driven interaction and cooperative storytelling. In this world, players create characters and use written roleplay to make them come to life.

**What is provided by our server?**

Above all, this is a story environment that is focused on the characters. Your behavior counts. Characters have direct control over and interaction with their surroundings. Every decision players make has an impact on the plot, and every action has repercussions, even if it isn't immediately obvious. The only ones who can change the story is *you.*

We keep our roleplaying environment accessible and laid back. In terms of creative freedom, the server is not unduly restrictive, enabling players to explore their ideas and characters without many needless constraints.

Additionally, our server has a relatively simplistic power system. It is made so:
✦ Players don't have to deal with complex mechanics that are hard to understand.
✦ Players don't have to make spreadsheets.
✦ Custom magic can be made upon oc creation with few constraints.
✦ Combat is more focused on story writing rather than who has the bigger number.

I’ve made a funky little server,
(well, i used an empty server from a while back, but it’s all shiny now!!)
And it’s for people who want to make silly little characters and do silly little things with them in funky little settings.

This could be developing them in a freeform section, chatting about them in ooc, or throwing them into a more consistent setting that one of us makes. Or just hanging out!!

Also: Have you got a setting idea that could be a consistent part of the server? Or perhaps you’ve got a storyline you’ve just been *begging* to go for, but the places you check out are a *little bit tired* activity-wise? Well, here’s your chance! Add it to the server & we can make a thing (category.) for it!

(right now, there’s an example of one in there that I’m pretty excited for and invested in. Everyone becomes Sort-Of-Gods with control over their own domain(s) in a realm that’s between realms. I’ve left everything quite open-ended so people can do different stuff with it. If that sounds interesting, you can join & check it out! I’m more than happy to chat about it :) )

The main aim of this is to have a small (ish) group of us that all write scenes and plots and worldbuild and all that good stuff together without the stress of any one of us needing to put all the effort in. I hope it ends up as a place where we all share ideas and collaborate on stories.

There aren’t any huge rules on what settings are and aren’t allowed,

- Community server for a freeform forum-roleplay site that has been active since 2015.

- Enter the world of Zephon, an original world that serves as a nexus for all canons and OCs from across the Final Fantasy franchise.

Both canons and OCs are apped from a Final Fantasy game world of the writer's choice. Availability ranges from the early titles such as FF1, FF4, FF6 and FF7, to newer titles like FF13 and FF14.
