Pokémon & Realms

Formerly Pokémon Showdown’s Roleplaying room, Pokémon & Realms is a community brought together by a love for various roleplays. While Pokémon freeform RP is the bedrock of the server, our community’s freedom to invent its own RPs has broadened its creative horizons.

Over the 7+ years our community has existed, this variety allowed us to accomodate for many different kinds of users. Those who thrive in the unbound Pokémon freeform, those who enjoy the innovative player-made RPs, those who are there just for the community. Whichever of these users you might be, we will receive you with open arms.

What we offer:

• Loose-rules Pokémon RP. Play a solo Pokémon, a Trainer, an Evil Team Admin, a Gijinka, whatever you wish. Just don’t play Fakémon or canon-involved characters.
• No approvals, except for legends and the likes. Play new ideas right away.
• No such thing as a central plot you must follow. Take in the world at your own pace.
• Any user can make their own events to shake up the scene.
• A custom region, Tutalo, that you can reshape with said user-made events.
• A Pokémon League for Tutalo, with applications for Gym Leader OCs.

• Complete freedom for RP hosts. Users get to make a whole RP from the ground up, with any mechanics or characters they want.
• Existing RP genres, born from the times of the Pokémon Showdown Roleplaying Room, with templates you can follow.
• Pings for each of these genres, to help you and your players connect.
• The possibility to make something entirely new instead.
• Custom ping roles for popular hosted RPs.

All of this with a welcoming community and no pressure to keep RPing all the time. Come be part of this new chapter of our long history.
