10 Years after the events of the Third World War, the planet has frozen over due to an explosion originating in a Japanese Laboratory, plunging the world into an endless winter, where only those infected with the HPT-STRAND Virus can survive. The once sprawling earth, filled with life, color, and meaning has since dwindled in population, leaving only 8,000 people alive in Japan. Life as people knew it had changed, and now the green fields are turned white, the bright blue sky is an endless void of black. Political unrest still plagues humanity, but a group of rebels have rose up to attempt to get freedom in the last years of humanity.

The Ouroborous Paradox setting takes place within a cyberpunk inspired dystopian setting. The world is dynamic and ever-changing, from lore additions to the events of roleplays occuring within this dangerous yet rewarding setting. Roleplayers can find themselves in not just a city, but 4 entire continents. Each with their own themes, cultures and risks. The most focused location being a city known as "Sanctuary"
Now you may be wondering, what sets us apart from the rest?

Well. Let's make a list:

The main defining feature of this server would be the ever-changing aspect of the setting. Locations will change depending on the activities occuring within. You can plan your own stories, your own places and even your own factions with their influence in whatever region you so choose. But beware, rival factions and individuals are common in this place.

Character creation: There are different species you can make your characters as. The most dynamic one being the "halfbloods". Genetic experiments, part human and part animal/beast. Pick and choose at your leisure. Some continents are even home to some exclusive species!

Community: The server is home to multiple active members! Those of which will be happy to help you get started or roleplay whenever they're available

Well-balanced power system: There is a unique power system within this server. With each ability synergising with others. Though beware, those with these uncommon gifts should not overuse them, lest they risk a terrifying condition.

And finally - Dynamic locations. The main city the setting occurs in, "Sanctuary" has 15+ vastly different districts for you to explore at you're leisure. A few examples being The AI maintained Mainframe district. The polluted mining district, the ever-changing Unity district!

The Lonesome Living; A Zombie Apocalypse RP

Our story takes place in present-day San Francisco, California.

Approximately five months ago, a mind-altering parasite was accidentally leaked into the public by a government lab stationed in California. It spread fast from one person to another, soon transforming the North and South American population into mindless zombies. Very few survivors are left to roam whatever is left of the land. Foreign nations hesitate to intervene, worried that the virus may spread to them.

After months of just barely surviving, some of the zombies look to be different from before. They seem altered or mutated, now stronger and faster than usual. Why could that be?

Fear and distrust hangs heavy in the air, but hope tries its best to shine through.
