a corrupt congregation held society by its throat, with a government as greedy as a starving wolf. tyrannical leaders were feared because of the lengths they were willing to go. blatantly pleased to embody the devil's favorite playthings. their bloodied hands were trophies attesting to their greed.

in turn, crime burgeoned like mold in the damp.

and because these plutocrats drowned in wealth and power to no end, along the way, their boredom introduced a game they liked to play with the children of the country.

they gathered a handful of them, presented each with an ample amount of money, and sent them off into the city for a week to see how they would manage.

unbeknownst to them, a rampant killer was released among the crowds, hired by the leaders to take them out, one by one, until a single child remained.

all of a sudden, the city was their arena.
