A lot of people have social anxiety. For some, the anonymity of the Internet allows them a brief respite from that anxiety.

I am not one of those people.

I hate that I get anxious when I join new servers, and often spend most, if not all, of my time just lurking. Servers with more than 100 people are usually a no go. I always overthink one on one convos online and feel like the other person isn't interested. This is a server for people like me. Anyone on the spectrum of social anxiety is welcome, especially those who have severe cases that impact their daily lives. This is a place where you can finally stop feeling embarrassed that you only have like one friend (or none at all), that you don't really get social cues, that you knew the answer to that one question but were too scared to raise your hand. Because you're not alone.

Your first challenge is to say hi when you join. That's it. That can sometimes be the hardest part, so if you're not up to it right that second that's perfectly okay. I'll try to make it easier with a warm welcome, but it's perfectly fine to feel like the pressure is a little too much at first. Baby steps.
