After time traveling became a reality in the twenty-second century, it was made into the latest vacation destination; and when tourists began messing with the timelines the whole project was scrapped and history was "repaired". But little did scientists know that the altered timelines would become the island, which would later birth the tornado that stole all of these people. 「燕雲傳奇 Tales of Yanyun」is a Roleplay Community for the game "Where Winds Meet", which takes place in the end of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms era (907-979 CE) to the beginning of the Northern Song dynasty (960 CE). We also welcome anyone who is interested in RPing in this period of history!

This Roleplay community is focused on emphasizing stories of the common folk of the sixteen prefectures.

We are looking for like-minded writers who enjoy:
- Stories focused on the common folk, "NPCs" rather than "heroes"
- Strictly low-fantasy, classic wuxia tropes, in a historically believable setting

While we don't exactly have a word count per post requirement, we're looking for people who enjoy paragraph length posts instead of one or two-liners. That being said, quality matters more than word count.

In March 2021, John V. Raddatz had started his first actual micronation, the Tsardom of North Star on 12 March 2021, and changed the name of it to North Branch 2 days later. North Branch became the Republic of Ostona around 16 March 2021. Ostona was originally a communist state with a "provisional" government, and it only lasted about a day or two before the name was changed to what became Zukostan.

Over 5 years later, Ostona has been given a new, fresh start. Ostona has adopted an authoritian government with the President in control of everything, a new flag, and in general, a rebrand. This nation is a Work-In-Progress. Things will develop more as time goes on. I invite you to join.

It your job to steer either Carthage or Rome to victory, ensuring your family lives on and you leave a legacy equal to Alexander the Great

Features include:
-Semi-realistic battles. Victory is determined by tactics and numbers mainly, but with luck represented by dice rolls still being a factor.

-Espionage. Players can make plans to assassinate other characters and spy on them for information.

-Limited communications. Communicating with other characters is mainly done through IRP letters, and only when two characters are in the same place will a channel be created for IRP talking.

-Privacy. All channels are hidden from other players, so you are free to scheme and plan as much as you desire in your own private channel.
