AFTERLIGHT INITIATIVE

The AFTERLIGHT Initiative is a covert, off‑the‑books successor to the 00 Program, created after the First Light incident. Operating outside MI6 oversight, the Initiative specializes in deniable operations, deep‑cover infiltration, psychological manipulation, and high‑risk intelligence recovery. Operatives are trained to be ghosts—unseen, untraceable, and expendable.

This server is a cinematic espionage roleplay space focused entirely on original characters. Canon figures from the 007 universe are not allowed; all operatives must be uniquely crafted for this world. The Initiative exists as a black‑budget division shaped by global instability, rogue states, private militaries, and clandestine syndicates. MI6 cannot act openly, so the Initiative moves in the shadows, executing missions requiring precision and absolute deniability.

At the center of its reactivation lies a single threat:

THE OBSIDIAN VEIL

A name with no face, no confirmed structure, and no verified intelligence. Every attempt to trace it ends in corrupted data, dead ends, or vanished operatives. The Initiative was rebuilt because of this entity, and every mission is tied to uncovering what the Veil truly is.

Recruits begin as Initiates. You will submit a dossier, undergo evaluation, and receive a specialization. Once approved, you gain access to global missions—infiltration, intelligence extraction, cyber ops, and targeted elimination. Your choices shape your operative’s alliances, reputation, and survival.

The server offers structured missions, character‑driven storytelling, safehouses, training simulations, and a fully developed MI6‑inspired world. Review the rules, complete your dossier, and step into the shadows.

In the AFTERLIGHT Initiative, only ghosts walk out alive.

In the early months of 2020 the world was already in flux — pandemics, economic collapse, technology advances and social fracturing. But beneath the surface, the hidden societies of supernatural beings (vampires, werewolves, witches, hybrids) sensed something shifting.

2020 – 2021: The First Fractures
The Blood-Market Crash (Spring 2020)

With much of the human world locked down, global surveillance increased, human criminal networks stalled, and for the supernatural underworld the blood-trade (illegal import/export of vampiric blood, essence, hybrid serums) plummeted. The syndicates that relied on human chaos for cover found new pressure on their revenue.
At the same time, human crime lords began encroaching into supernatural territory — assassinations of lesser vampire lords, extortion of witches for ritual components. A handful of high-profile killings in London, New York, and Hong Kong (underworld hits with vampiric blood-ritual signatures) rattled the hidden treaties.
The result: The council that had enforced the old truce quietly convened emergency meetings...... (A TASTE OF THE LORE, READ MORE INSIDE)

The human crime underworld is now deeply merged with the supernatural: many human syndicates either have supernatural alliances or are hunted by them.

Supernatural hierarchies are destabilised: no longer stable lords but power-hungry war-bands.

The veil between human society and supernatural is thinner: more exposure, more risk, more opportunity.

The blood-trade, arcane weapons, supernatural mercenaries are now mainstream super-crimes.

Role-players begin in a world on fire: choose a faction, pick a side in the wars, carve out power in the chaos.
