I’m Ascend, and I’ve been a competitor my entire life.
I grew up competing in anything I could — from indigenous American village–hosted wild boar games, to regional chess tournaments in primary school, to math olympiads.

That competitive drive eventually evolved into a deep obsession with the MOBA genre.
When I discovered games like League of Legends, Honor of Kings, MLBB, and others in my late teens, everything clicked. The skills I built over the years — strategic thinking, pattern recognition, psychological discipline — translated naturally into MOBAs.

What I’ve Learned,
After years of playing, studying, and coaching, one thing became obvious:

Most players don’t struggle because of mechanics.
They struggle because their approach is wrong.

After completing my HoK team project AWA (where I worked as leader, coach, and strategist), I realized that almost nobody in the scene focuses on what actually matters:

Performance Coaching,
People teach cooldowns, map rules, and “go here on the map.”
That’s surface-level. Anyone can watch a guide for that.

But executing consistently — in ranked or competitive play — requires something deeper:

Your mindset,
Your decision-making structure,
Your psychology under pressure,
Your habits outside the game,
Your emotional control,
Your mental patterns,
The root of why you tilt, freeze, tunnel, or repeat mistakes,

This is the part almost everyone ignores.
And this is the part I specialise in.
