Welcome to Fried Eye, a Hindsight-based roleplay server with real stakes, real lore, and real consequences, led by ownership that listens and builds.

It is 2032. On New Year's Eve, a catastrophic breach tore through LAMINAX Corporation's Subterranean Modular Research Institute, sealed ~1,000 feet below Lake Pryamid. What started as a coordinated riot became something far worse. Organized infected personnel with years of planning behind them. Feral latex entities flooding through collapsed sectors. Contraband weapons in the hands of people with nothing left to lose. By 16:44, the surface was sealed and everyone still inside was on their own.

LAMINAX hasn't stopped fighting since. Because somewhere in Site-03's collapsed sectors and corrupted systems is the cure to the Pale Virus, the only lead humanity has left on a pathogen still killing thousands on the surface.

They fight for the civilians dying to PLX-0001-J in Nevada. For the researchers and staff trapped inside who never asked for a war. For the reinforcements descending into the dark with no guarantee of coming back. And for the surface itself, because if latex breaches containment, the cost becomes unthinkable.

This is not a clean war. There are no easy sides. There is only the mission and the weight of it.
Will you carry it?

Thousand Oaks, 2093. The latex has been here long enough that most people stopped calling it an outbreak. The tower that started it still stands, still powered, still unaccounted for by the company that built it and the parent group that has never once issued a formal statement about what happened inside it.

This is a roleplay server set in the world of Changed, with its own expanded lore, a structured latex taxonomy, and a city that didn't evacuate when it probably should have. Human or changed, researcher or wanderer, freshly turned or something that barely remembers being anything else, there's a place for your character in what Thousand Oaks has become.
