The galaxy has long awaited mankind and in the late 24th century, the sons of Earth finally answered it call as 100,000 brave souls made their way across the void to Alpha Centauri. There in the system of Toliman, after numerous trials and tribulations from the system's hostility and conflict with strange precursors, these sons of Earth have not only survived but thrived building new civilisations and empires from the petty rocks of this barren solar system.

Nearly a century have past since the arrival of these "Colonials," and a new age of conflict and competition has begun as increasingly waves of refugees flee from the explosion of war and international competition in the Solar System, commerce and interconnectivity resurges after these colonies returned to the stars, and the system increasingly found itself divided by three Internationalist Blocs, the T.T.O, The I.C.C, and the Earth appointed U.N government.

In the distant areas of the cosmos, far beyond the familiar stars of the Milky Way Galaxy lies the Eridani Galaxy - a realm of vibrant, exotic planets and sentient species unknown to humankind until a fateful discovery. Dr. Aris Thorne, a brilliant but audacious astrophysicist, stumbled upon a wormhole during a deep-space expedition. This gateway led to Eridani, the galaxy teeming with life and resources beyond human comprehension. Thorne, amazed by his discovery, returned to Earth, informing those of his findings.

The US Government didn't see this as a discovery, but as an opportunity. This in their eyes, was a brilliant opening for money and power and began rallying support for a grand colonization effort.

Humanity's arrival in Eridani was met with both awe and resistance. The natives of the first planet, Pyris, turned hostile as humans began claiming territories and exploiting resources, and once the overall leader of the galaxy, Caius Erighal found out about the invasion, he was quick to retaliate. War erupted, and the advanced human technology against the Eridani's more tribal weaponry meant they didn't stand a chance. Despite their valiant efforts, the Eridanians were ultimately outmatched. Human dominance was secured, but at a great cost.

In the aftermath of the war, a fragile peace was established between the humans now inhabiting Pyris and the surviving Eridanians. A pact was forged:

While some human governors genuinely sought to integrate and uplift their assigned populations, others ruled with an iron fist, exploiting it's people for resources and suppressing them.

Decades after the war's end, resentment began simmering beneath the surface. Whispers of rebellion echo in the shadows. Will this be the stage for a new era of conflict?

Officially designated as Sector Seraph's End by the Unknown Empire upon its charter into the Universe in the year 19292 IC Yol. Yet it may come across as many other names from a bundle of civilisations.

A universe fairly modest in scale, yet it be dense with destiny. Home to a little over 300 billion galaxies brings it ripe for conquest, diplomacy and discovery. While the Universe has escaped the full wrath of the War of Survival (20002-20214 IC Yol) it was not left unscathed.

Although it spared total annihilation, millions of galaxies still bear the scars of that multiversal cataclysm. Leaving behind Ancient war machines, ruins and forgotten weapons of unimaginable power drift through dead systems, waiting for bold explorers to claim them.
