Welcome to a multipurpose server! We have this server for four different reasons: Physics, Mathematics, Writing and just making friends!

To those who want to make friends, we offer flexible, but not absent rules! The members are quite helpful to newcomers and we'll make sure to make you feel as comfortable as possible! It doesn't matter if you're from a science or writing background or not!

For Physics nerds, we welcome anyone from high school level to PhDs and above, no limit, really! We have channels on basic topics such as Classical Mechanics and Electrodynamics as well as advanced topics such as General Relativity, Quantum Field Theory, but there are many more! More channels can be added if requested! If you even enjoy Physics slightly, this server is a must!

For Mathematics nerds, we welcome the same kinds of people, from high school level to PhDs and beyond, doesn't really matter! We have topics ranging from basic Real Analysis to Differential Geometry! And pssst Physics people need math too, this could be good.

Last, but certainly not the least writing. You may wonder, doesn't that feel off for a server like this? Very untrue. Writers, who aren't a part of STEM fields are welcome here, of course! However, I would say writing is another way to get your imagination flowing. I'd argue that math itself is an art sometimes, because it's so beautiful. But of course, anyone writing poetry, to full-blown fantasy is always welcome here too!

This is a group of students who are dedicated to self-directed learning from the courses of MIT OCW. We focus mostly on Mathematics and Physics as of now, but would be expanding it to other STEM subjects over time. We have Separate channels for the courses, channels for PSet discussion, VCs for lecture streams. We have book readings every Sunday and Lecture Streams every Tuesday and Thursday.
