We are proud to be one of the most literate Yu-Gi-Oh! roleplay servers, with a structured RP system and a strong focus on plot and character development. We are looking for roleplayers that could commit in the long run as our RP tends to progress at a slower pace (scenes may last from days to weeks). We are a 18+ server to make room for mature themes, but no NSFW content is allowed.

Premise:
The time is a few months after the Yubel Incident. In Germany, a new school year is just starting at Valkyrie Academy (VA), a dueling school established by Siegfried von Schroeder. A competitor of Duel Academy, VA is meant to be a statement against the toxic elitism and cutthroat competitiveness that Seto Kaiba represented.

What is to be expected? Everything! From duel tournaments, to VR experiences of the all-new Turbo Duel sensation, to strange blank cards appearing in mysterious places, to interesting guests in the school... Here you will find friendship, adventure, magic, chaos, and everything that you have come to love in the world of YGO.

How it works:
We have regular classes and events as well as lots of free time to explore the school on your own. You can join an established plot, develop your individual character arc, or just chill in the schoolyard with the others. We have a unique RP system with day-to-day records to keep things organised, so it's easy to join at any time.

**Instructions**
You all are duelists who are attempting to climb the tower and face mountains of challenges offered by different duelists. First you must choose a starter deck that you will use to take on the tower of dueling.

You can play rounds of quizes, challenges and puzzles that will grant you your very own card collection and cards to prepare for the battle then you will all be given a chance to battle with the boss of the floor.

You will need to win against the boss for everyone to proceed to the next floor.

Players can freely gift or trade cards between one another.

We will be using EdoPro as it has all the cards including anime cards and is very convenient. Please remember to save all the replays of all your duels as they will be posted for everyone to watch and analyze.

Yu-Gi-Oh!: Virtual Shadows! Is a retro format based roleplay server that takes place in the strange, quiet town of Shi in northern Japan. In the years after Yu-Gi-Oh! 5Ds, Duel Academy has branched out into virtual teaching to expand its influence in the dueling scene.

The general premise of the roleplay is that your character was denied from Duel Academy’s main dueling course, but instead was offered a chance to join an experimental new cohort, using advanced VR. Your character was given instructions to arrive to the small coastal town of Shi. Room and board was provided, and your character was handed an experimental full dive VR setup, allowing them to enter a sort of ‘Virtual academy’. Now, of course, strange happenings around the town, and the shady dealings of the higher ups lead to an air of unease from the original townsfolk, especially after the sudden appearance of the dead body of an unknown scientist on the beach one morning, which was quickly ferried away by men and women in suits.

The format itself though, is HAT based, the last format before pendulums were added to the game. However, each OC has something unique about them, before they moved to Shi, they each found a playset of a card not from this era, that uniquely fits their deck.

This is HAT format, but with a twist. You get one card from the future to make your character’s deck special. This card can be any card printed after the cutoff point of HAT format (After July 14th 2014), that is not on the list of pre-banned cards. It’s up to you what that card will be, will it be something that breathes life into a niche strategy, or something that allows for a completely new way of playing the game.

Introducing Everchanging Format, an alternate Yu-Gi-Oh! format that adds a new level of strategy and unpredictability to the game. The card pool is randomly generated, with 30 new random cards being added every week, meaning you'll have to adapt to new cards and come up with creative decks. Perfect if you want to scratch the Sealed itch of "work with what you're given" in a Constructed format!

Millennium Duels (MDs) is a primarily Yu-Gi-Oh based server for collecting and duelling with free, digital packs. No real-life money involved. While we primarily play/host YGO events, we also support the Pokemon TCG, and Magic the Gathering as well, and there will be other events regarding those games.

Here, you are free to post any and all of your favourite pendulum content; decklists, archetypes and more. However, this server believes in inclusivity and free speech. If you’re not a fan of pendulums, but are looking for a cool place to hang out and enjoy dueling or simply even chatting, then dont stress and stop by. Here at the Summit - we have something for everyone.

So what's so good about this server? At the Pendulum Summit, you are guaranteed a fun and organised experience. (Pure) Custom Evolution is a fully custom fully whitelisted Yu-Gi-Oh alt format you can play on duelingbook. All cards legal in the format are custom and made specifically for the format.

Power Level falls somewhere between Goats and Edison. Fusion Summons and Rituals are the Extra Deck mechanic for now.

Format already spans over 600 custom cards you can use. We have sample decks you can use to immediately test the format without getting overwhelmed by the amount of new cards.

It’s 1934. Volska, USSR. Heavy snow falls as a group of people trudges through the snowdrift towards the village. Two armed men walk with a small older woman between them. In her hands, a deck of cards, each inscribed with art of monsters and spells, an ancient magic passed down through the Siberian heritage. This is why the government keeps these people around, despite their qualms with their abilities and habits, because their magic keeps worse things at bay.

One such thing has found the group. Monstrous noises escape a cavern along the path to the village, the cardbearer readies herself before either of the gunmen do. Of course she does, mere weaponry would be nothing to such a creature, only one such as her could do damage. The guns are more a distraction, a life willingly sacrificed by the government for the greater good.

White scales, whiter even more so than the snow, emerges from the cavern. A dragon with eyes of blue, poised to strike. It lets out a shrill cry as the men open fire.

All that remains in the aftermath is the cardbearer. While her comrades were lost in the struggle, so too did the dragon fall, it’s life traded for the two gunmen. The old woman hobbles in the snow, stopping only to pick something up, a card. A new card, one with a dragon with blue eyes and scales as white as snow.

Welcome to Yu-Gi-Oh! Genesys.
As the name already implies, this Server will focus on the newly constructed Yugioh TCG! Format called Genesys.
It differs quite a bit from the base format and will get adjusted by konami accordingly.
The main differences are that there are:
No Pendulum, nor Link Monsters. Instead it uses the "original" Dueling Field.
There is also no banlist. The balance follows a point system that will get adjusted from time to time by konami!
