Overlord: Advent is a server that offers a proper Overlord-style experience with progression, combat, and player-driven interaction that actually matters! We are the longest-running Overlord RP server to date, with our community having been established in 2019.

A thousand years have passed since the disappearance of Ainz Ooal Gown. The Great Tomb of Nazarick, little more than a myth, has left the world is drowning in its wake. The "unchained" servants of Ainz Ooal Gown have carved out their own cruel legacies in search of their master.
Drawn to Eldrathis like moths to a flame, the people of this land must contend not only with each other but with these ancient evils. So in a desperate bid for salvation, young spell casters have reached across Dimensions, Time and Space to pull New Heroes into their world.

The year is 2138 and a rather niche DMMORPG game is about to close down. Through its years, the game's popularity had gone both up and down until it gradually began dying off during the last few years. Although the active player base didn't want to acknowledge it, they all knew deep down that one day Yggdrasil would have to close down. Suddenly it was there, a message left from the game’s developers. It stated that the game would shut down in a months time. Most players spent the last month fighting, engaging in PvP and using up all their valuable equipment while they still had the chance. Others were amassing as much gold as they could to hide within their personal vaults and some were just nostalgic about the good times they had experienced while playing the game.
As time passed most players logged out of the game, saying goodbye to their characters and friends one last time before going on with their daily lives like nothing had happened. But a select few didn't, they were determined to stay logged in until the very last second for one reason and another. Those people suddenly found themselves trapped in another world, unable to go back to the place where they came. Although the change might not have been apparent at first, it became clear to them that they had found themselves in a brand new world. Now, how these individuals change the course of history for either good of bad remains to be seen but one thing is certain - their impact on the world will be felt for millennia to come.

Hello and welcome, the sole reason of why I created this server is because I am an aspiring author who loves writing short stories related to fantasy roleplay, I am a fan of Warhammer Fantasy and Old World, also a fan of Tolkien works. I want to mostly create a safe hangout place for any fantasy enthusiasts who love to create characters, settings and lore and I invite any artists to share their work and publicize themselves.
I am in the process of finishing a setting a world I created, but if anyone wants to share their ideas feel free to do so, rp is not strictly restricted for now to any particular setting so I am willing to provide freedom.
