Explorers of Doran is an 18+ server using a modified D&D system for combat and exploration.

The map is custom made as is the lore and the system we use is a modified version of the 5e D&D that was modified by our staff.

We have roles for those that wish to play as an Adventurer with stats and rolls while also having a role for Citizens for those that wish to have a more casual experience with no stats and simply roleplaying.

The Continent of Doran
The year is 982 A.E.

The nations on Doran are in bitter resentment for years of territorial struggle and resource gathering. As sea monsters dissuade most from trying to flee, they are stuck and are forced to try and negotiate what they can from each other. So far, the only main civilized races that have surfaced are the Humans, Elves, Dwarves and Orcs. There are varying environments within the continent, high reaching mountains, long winding deserts, sprawling plains, thick forests and freezing tundras. Each place has its own value and worth as minerals are plenty in some places and food is found in others, thus every day in most places requires trade or fighting to survive.

In the beginning, there were the ancients.

Nobody knew quite how they came to be. Some said they evolved from tiny specks in the ocean, so small they couldn’t be seen by the naked eye. Some say they were a species of underground creature forced out of the ancient cities by the sculk and adapting to the sunlight so quickly that it changed them forever. Still others say they simply… popped into existence, one after the other.

The true reason for their existence is one that is still debated to this day, for there are no records of where they came from.

All that is known about them is that hundreds of thousands of years ago, they ruled the Overworld- and, eventually, met their end by it.

While we are limited to what vanilla Minecraft has given us so far, we are not limited to the original game! Here, you're able to play as almost any mob found in the side games as well; Minecraft Dungeons, Legends, Earth, Story Mode and even outvoted/rejected mobs from the original game are all playable as OCs! Not only that, but the canon characters from the main game and MC: Dungeons are both up for grabs!
