after the events of the final battle, life has gone on as usual. copper-9 is rebuilding. dissasembly drones gone back to killing workers again, all that fun stuff.

but as the absolute solver lurks in Uzi's tail, some are paranoid it might go on the loose--again. and they weren't paranoid for nothing. with absolute solver secretly doing it's thing again--well, people say history repeats itself.

but don't despair! life is normal, for the most part at least. most of the new generation won't have to suffer what the main cast did. they're happy and well. and as for the main cast--they still have no idea the absolute solver is stirring again, and potentially causing...trouble.

This story takes place after the main series, on a different planet called Cobalt 8. Focused on a new threat called the Eternal Holder that has the capability of manipulating energy, similar to how the Absolute Solver manipulates matter.

Cobalt 8 is a tidally locked planet with 3 moons, orbiting a single star. It is comprised of two biomes: a cold snowy forest on the dark side and a vast desert on the star side, both equally wasted. The atmosphere is littered with debris that makes escape nigh-impossible. There are a few settlements on the planet, though most are abandoned. One functioning settlement that houses both drones and humans is called Orion's Keep.

While technically one side of the planet is always day and the other is always night, the three moons provide the planet with some form of cycle. When the moons cover the star on the desert side, that is night; and when the moons reflect the star's light onto the snow forest side, that is day.

During the nights of either side, monsters in the form of gargantuan machines, made of flesh and metal, awaken and prowl. They are highly aggressive and dangerous, approach or, preferably, flee with caution.

Over the years a new drone civilization would rise, one built on the idea of redemption and drone equality, atleast that's how it should have been.
