This is the remake of 'The World', probably one of the most recognizable names in the cultivation roleplay community of discord.

o one knows how or why it happened, but tens of thousands of years ago, as humans developed methods to cultivate Qi and eventually attain immortality, the residents of the Mortal Plane started to exhibit signs that suggested great potential. Naturally, sects and various factions formed as skilled individuals from all across the vast and wide lands arose, and the world descended into an ongoing dispute. This persisted for a long period of time, but peace emerged when all realized what they sought was no longer attainable.

During the following periods of time not a lot of events took place as most cultivators now studied in behind closed doors and rarely came out to get supplies, hunt demonic beasts, or recruit a new disciple. And rhus the number of practioners drastically decreased, manuals and arts were gradually decaying into dust . . .

But 20 in the past of this immortal taking notes something happed, it was as if the heavens themselves opened their mighty oak gates and let out an abundance of spiritual energy. Now it was a common thing to see a cultivator walking on the street, even bandits had attained the grace of accumulating qi . . . The once dusty sects now hungry for domination left behind all seclusion and began their search for talented individuals, each and every one of them wished to get their hands on a heaven-given talent and dominate the continent . . . Immortality was so longer the goal for many.

However alongside that wave of life there came the enragement of demonic beasts which sought to devour and murder all forms of existance . . . It was what many may call a trade, the mortals received their long loved 'New Golden Era of Cultivation' while the beast achieved the possibility to grow and devour the heavens.
