"Vampires. Creatures of the night. These beings had once lived in relative peace with the human race. Each stayed within their own territories...that was, at least, until the King of the Vampires openly declared war on the humans. The massacre that soon followed the surprise announcement would become known as "The Bloody Night" as over 50% of the humans living on the continent perished, their blood staining the ground as these creatures who once remained in the deepest of shadows, now roam freely in the night.

However, humans are very perseverant. They did not stand idly by and let themselves all be killed. Gifted ones took up weapons, trained, and fought them off. These humans would later become known as The Hunters. And while The Hunters fought, the Sages and the Holy Church brought up safe havens for humans throughout the continent, warding away their evil.

Now we stand, 5 years after The Bloody Night, the humans and the vampires lie at a standstill, as the humans develop more and more ways to ward off the vampires; and the vampires grow more and more thirsty for the humans blood."

Outou Academy is a special academy that was designed to help harness the skills of young Volleyball players from all across Japan. Located in Miyagi Prefecture, the school invited many volleyball teams from Miyagi Prefecture and beyond to attend the spring semester at their special academy.

Unlike regular schools, Outou Academy focuses on giving it's attendees a future in Volleyball. Along with regular classes, Outou Academy offers classes specifically focused on athletics and volleyball, as well as many after school activities that focus on team building and friendship.

Teams from many schools such as Karasuno, Shiratorizawa, Date Tech, Aoba Johsai, and many more were all invited to attend this prestigious academy. While they will be having friendly matches against each other throughout the year, in general, the teams will not be separated within the school, and in fact will be encouraged to form new bonds with people from outside of their school.

While Outou Academy will try it's best to guide it's new class of bright and ambitious students, in the end, it will be up to the students to determine the success of this academy! So lets do our best, and make this the best class Outou Academy has produced yet!
