The Canadian Armed Forces (CAF; French: Forces armées canadiennes, FAC) are the unified military forces of Canada, including sea, land, and air commands referred to as the Royal Canadian Navy, Canadian Army and the Royal Canadian Air Force.
In BRM5, we are a faction comprised of players from all ages, including mostly CJCR cadets, active duty Canadian Armed Forces personnel and other milsim enjoyers. We have deployed more than 20+ times to crisis zones like Ronograd (Op RETAKING) and New York City (Op IROQUOIS). We are located in the Mountain Time Area, but we have players in most regions of the world. We may be small but we have multiple allied factions.

SHADOW FORCES OFFICIAL BRIEFING

Shadow Forces is a structured military simulation unit operating within Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5. Membership is open to personnel aged 16+ only. This is a professional unit, conduct yourself accordingly.
EVENTS
Shadow Forces hosts over 10 event types, including combat operations, training exercises, and inter-unit engagements. Once the unit reaches 50 active operators, daily events will be introduced. Attendance is expected, and strong performance is recognised and rewarded.
COMMUNITY
The strength of this unit depends on every operator. Shadow Forces enforces a zero-tolerance policy on toxicity to maintain professionalism and unit cohesion. Rules are mandatory and actively enforced. All members are expected to show discipline both in operations and within the community.
ONBOARDING PROCEDURE
All new personnel must complete the following steps:
Read the rules in full
Submit a formal application
Await command review
Report for Basic Combat Training (BCT) if accepted
Complete BCT to advance from Recruit to Private
ALLIED UNITS
Shadow Forces welcomes formal alliances with other units. Organisations wishing to discuss partnership terms should open a support ticket upon joining the server. Command will arrange a meeting accordingly.
RANK & PROMOTION SYSTEM
Promotions are handled through a merit-based points system designed to ensure fair and transparent advancement. Operators earn points through event attendance and assigned duties, with additional rewards based on performance evaluations by supervising officers. Rank requirements are listed within the server.

Shadow Forces is a structured military simulation unit operating within Blackhawk Rescue Mission 5. Membership is open to personnel aged 16+ only. This is a professional unit, conduct yourself accordingly.
EVENTS
Shadow Forces hosts over 10 event types, including combat operations, training exercises, and inter-unit engagements. Once the unit reaches 50 active operators, daily events will be introduced. Attendance is expected, and strong performance is recognised and rewarded.
COMMUNITY
The strength of this unit depends on every operator. Shadow Forces enforces a zero-tolerance policy on toxicity to maintain professionalism and unit cohesion. Rules are mandatory and actively enforced. All members are expected to show discipline both in operations and within the community.
ONBOARDING PROCEDURE
All new personnel must complete the following steps:
Read the rules in full
Submit a formal application
Await command review
Report for Basic Combat Training (BCT) if accepted
Complete BCT to advance from Recruit to Private
ALLIED UNITS
Shadow Forces welcomes formal alliances with other units. Organisations wishing to discuss partnership terms should open a support ticket upon joining the server. Command will arrange a meeting accordingly.
RANK & PROMOTION SYSTEM
Promotions are handled through a merit-based points system designed to ensure fair and transparent advancement. Operators earn points through event attendance and assigned duties, with additional rewards based on performance evaluations by supervising officers. Rank requirements are listed within the server.

SMU Raven's Beak is a small mercenary unit. Somewhere from Norway. They're not the biggest, no, we have SMU Poleaxe for that. But with Raven's Beak, we have plausible deniability. Something the CIF needs. You pay 'em and give them full reign, they'll kill anyone you need them to. They're also experienced in RECCE, AVTEC, Mechanised Infantry.. the whole nine yards.
UNITS
ODB FOUR: A SMU inside of a SMU. It can do anything to clandestine to direct action assassination. Also proficient in MOUT and CQB. Requires being hand-picked by the SMU's HIGHCOMM, however.
ODB THREE: The pilots and armor of the unit. Highly skilled with inserting Raven's into AO's, providing CAS, Guiding helicopters as CCTs and JTACS, and heavy armor tactics. Also has a ODB Four joint ODA.
ODB TWO: Recon specialists. Does everything from sniping to general recon. Reportedly, a ODB Two sniper hit a shot from two thousand meters out in the CENTCOM Region..
ODB One: The Hard Target Defeat and grunts of the Unit. Skilled in general DA and SOF Missionsets. Expect these guys to be chucking their 3 standard issued grenades.
**WHY US?** We are a chill MILSIM Faction that doesn't care about strict protocol or numbers, just about executing our tactics and completing our mission. Alongside our frequent events, you can just hangout and play gamenights with us. We additionally have a ever-expanding lore that affects our missions.
