Characters are able to leave behind an inheritance upon death. Future characters may discover or inherit a previous character's inheritance, allowing for long-term progression across characters. While the creator of said inheritance's next character will have first rights to the inheritance, if they decide against inheriting and follow a new path, the inheritance may instead be discovered by another player.

This allows legacies and organizations to persist beyond a single character’s lifespan and creates an almost rogue-like sense of progression within the RP. While death is a major risk within the world, players are not required to engage with this system if they are able to continue advancing with a single character. There will also be many inheritances throughout the world unrelated to player characters.

The date is 1920 when a mysterious, deadly mist enveloped the world and leaving only Xia unaffected, making Xia a "lone island." Monstrous creatures appeared around the mist to terror the people. In this, humans discovered the existence of mythological gods and creatures.

1922; The people of Xia discovered the existence of the Serpent of Chaos, Leviathan, the first of the mythological beings they uncover. Serial Number 001, as it's the first discovered. And slowly afterwards, more and more mythical beings and gods are revealed. For example, the Three Eyed god, Yang Jian. Serial Number 004 in 1930. However, all of this discovery was kept hidden from public to keep things in order.

People also discovered that humans born after the mist appeared awakened special powers, named Forbbiden Ruin. The power will increase as the user's spirtual powers increases and people seperates them into 6 ranks. Cup; Pool; River; Sea; Abyss; Void.

There is also an existence much more powerful than the forbidden ruins users. They are the God Envoys who gets powers granted by the gods and instead have God Ruins. They are that god's agent on earth.

‎Afterwards, in order to protect the people and keep order, the Night Watcher career form. They are people with forbidden ruin tasked to take out the monster. They are usually hired by a government or government funded organization, which will nurture them and gave them resources to improve their rank, as well as teach them fighting skills.

Around the same time, an cult like organization separate from the mass called Ancient God Church came into sight to the government. Their motivation is to bring chaos to the world and recruit god envoys, forcefully or willingly; and it seems they are able to control the monsters.
