The planet of Heaventide is filled with Aberrant Substances- Substances that can distort and bring about changes in even the most common of species. Some say they come from gods, others from a shift in the heavenly daos. None are certain though, and it is ultimately a mystery left to plague the descendants of the world.

The island of Suzaku is but one small corner, said to be intimately linked to the planet's namesake in the past. It often deals with mutations, and other anomalies caused by the outbreak of the mutagen. Here, is where you'll start your ascension to greatness.
