Welcome to The Living World of Galdrypha

A day in real life is a day in the fantasy world we play in. We try to involve in-depth systems and intricate storylines for you to enjoy.

An adventurer is most commonly what people play and what we see... though plenty of people literally play alchemists, tamers, smiths, magic item enchanters, and many more professions we're advancing with our own rules.

To explain a little bit of the server before you join... we have a long list of Dungeon Masters who post mini-campaign arcs or one-shots for your character to join. In between all adventures you perform in will be about most of your time in the server. It's mostly RP between player characters when you're in your downtime.

Some set expectations too high that quests and adventure postings are on the ready by command, but really the a good portion of playtime should be expected to be RP simply because we don't pay our dungeon masters here and it's just for fun. Enjoy the leveling process and keep it slow, it's the story along the way rather than reaching your maxed out build.

We are always innovating new systems, so never be afraid to ask about something if you do not understand.

This is a low-mid medieval fantasy setting, my best example is likely the Witcher's setting when it comes to comparing our style to another's.

We welcome you to Radiance! It is based within the kingdom of Lorinth which is the battlefront of Galdrypha fighting of giants, primordials, and inside fighting of crime organizations.

The Cosmic Inbetween is a hub world in the astral sea, where you interact with other people that intentionally or not have arrived here. It is calm but it too has its own troubles outside the main town.

For the adventuring souls that join, they have the chance to help the purpose of the world, helping other planes with minor to massive asks, ranging from dying worlds to those that just need an extra hand.

We do have a small but dedicated team of DM's and Players but are always looking for more. But, what is there to expect besides quest? Good question! We have:

Vitanova is a 'hub-world' that links itself to other worlds run by our Dungeon Masters! The beauty of Vitanova is in it's simplicity--Dungeon Masters get to make their own worlds and don't need to worry about following lore written by others. It's all in-house! Vitanova itself was once the fourty-second planet in a massive solar system known as 'the Cluster.' However, with the advent of Vescorna--a massive dragon-goddess that consumes all that she touches, Vitanova was left as a broken world; nothing remained but shards. On these shards lie the portals to not only the other worlds, but to different shards within the planet--such as the Central Park, the Temples Shard, and the various shards belonging to guilds! Will you step up to the plate and help people from across the universe as a mercenary?

What can I do in 'Vitanova'?:

- Engage in thrilling adventurers either through finding a game with LFG, or by waiting for a DM to post a quest. Go for a run whenever you have the time!

- Gain 'Event Threads' by participating in server events, such as movie night, roleplay events, and more! Use these event threads to purchase rewards such as XP, extra character slots, and more!

In the world of Sunderhelm, there is no singular horizon, no familiar sky above and ground below. There is only a calamitous, beautiful, and broken realm, a world that was not only shattered, but imploded. Life persists, but it is a life amongst the strata. Each stratum, from the verdant, jagged tops to the lightless, mineral-rich depths, is a distinct realm with its own ecology, its own cultures, and its own rules of existence. To the denizens of Sunderhelm, their stratum is their entire world, until it is not.


This is a ground level build for a 24/7 living world and play-by-post server. Looking for a bit more serious style of roleplay? This may be the place for you! The idea is to lean away from full-blown whimsy (though there may still be some whimsy).
