Welcome to Pacific Northwest Warriors!

This is a new Warrior Cats based RP set in the Pacific Northwest. It is centered around three Clans that live on the far side of a Thunderpath and the seaside town beyond it. OakClan has settled down in an old-growth forest, CliffClan on a large craggy knoll, and MistClan in a meadow filled with vernal pools. Uniting all three Clans is the Moon Grove, a beautiful and spiritual place for Gatherings and meeting with StarClan. There is also an old twoleg farm nearby with abandoned fields and animals. An informal fourth group of cats resides here, taking care of the chickens, sheep, and other animals that come their way.

PNW writing is hosted on our Jcink forum, while chatting, plotting, and engaging with other members is done on our Discord server. Although most of the roleplay focuses on slice-of-life interactions between characters, there are also sometimes overarching plots that will affect all the territories.

We are currently looking for two unique high positions in CliffClan called Echos! They lead the two different warrior groups and are next in line to become deputy.

LONG AFTER THE EVENTS OF THE WARRIORS SERIES, generations have passed and all those who came before have been reduced hazy, muddled memory and myths. The waves in the distance crash violently against shore, blades of grass nearby waving gently in the wind, in tune with the rhythm and song of the sea, amongst this careful rhythm and false pretense of peace, a hushed, panicked voice rung out amongst the song, begging you to come help the oncoming storm emerging on the horizon, an invisible one, that has yet to wreck the 3 clans living on the beach.

Sunclan is currently overtaken by a cruel, selfish and tyrannical leader, who snatched and stole the throne from the former leader, forming a dictatorship within the clan and changing the ways of Sunclan forever.

Fluvialclan is keeping silent and ignorant, afraid of changing their ways and facing this unknown danger, danger that can be sensed but not seen nor heard.

Sylvanclan faces towards the conflict, headstrong and determined, but unsure and unknown of the danger that lies ahead, all they can do is prepare, stay alert and desperately beg for Fluvialclan to listen to the chill of danger on the horizon.

Neither of the clans are aware of what exactly is happening in Sunclan, and the cruelty and horrors that lie ahead in it's wake, but one thing is sure, Sunclan is heading down a dark path, one that not either of them can predict nor stop.

🌊 TideClan — Harmonious and generous stewards of the sea who reside along the shore. Artisans craft and weave using materials they gather from the ocean.
⛰️ RidgeClan — Pious and prideful cats who live high in the clifftops to be closer to StarClan. Starwatchers record Clan history and mediate communication with their ancestors.
🌲 CedarClan — A secluded and mysterious Clan deep within the woods that worships the earth instead of the stars. Seekers help gather resources throughout the territory and make sure nothing goes to waste.

Many cats have lived and died of old age in the time of peace. Until one night, StarClan spoke about a great evil, like a dark storm cloud looming over the horizon. A dark heart would begin the slow erosion of the peace time.

A Starless Sky takes places MANY seasons in the future in a time where Firestar himself has become nothing more than a legend, a name you hear in stories. After so many moons of hardships, evils, and prophecies, Starclan has decided it is time for the clans to have a refresh. Firestar himself delivers a message to every clan:

"We have all fallen from our former glory. Hardships and evils have plauged our lives for many seasons, evil and betrayals have filled our hearts. Starclan has decided to give every cat a chance at a new life, away from this tainted lake, back in the land of our clan's founders. Using the power of Starclan itself, we shall return our home to its former glory. Those who choose to leave this lake and live in the home of your ancestors will be met with an empty unclaimed land to rebuild your lives. Those who choose to stay will continue life as normal without Starclan's influence."

Those who chose to leave the lake returned back to the forest territories we all know and love. This is where the roleplay will take place. HOWEVER, there is more to this story. Starclan used all their power to remove every twoleg in the twolegplace, leaving a small town surrounded by even more woods all free for you to explore.
The four main clans must be rebuilt from scratch, though whispers in the wind bring word of the stirrings of potential new clans rising up as well.....

After their immense display of power, Starclan was completely emptied and the Dark forest too, each afterlife waiting to be refilled. One elder died shortly after the Great Journey to their new home, becoming the first member of Starclan. Blizzardleaf is now the sole member of Starclan, patiently waiting for her friends and family to join her, and is the only current cat to give out lives...leaving leaders with only one extra.

Moons ago, a Twoleg city once densely populated was abandoned after a nearby nuclear reactor melted down. Massive amounts of radiation were hurled into the air. All Twoleg residents were evacuated and told to leave their pets behind. Weeks went by without the return of their owners. Thus, the abandoned house cats banded together and hid underground.

Now, 30 years later, this once peaceful group has been torn in two by dissonance.

🐾 : The Ruinwalkers, a traditionalist group descended from former house cats, claim an abandoned subway system.
🌿 : The Dawnseekers, a more proactive group recently split off from the Ruinwalkers, rule over the ruins of the city outskirts.

The Dawnseekers, having had enough of hiding away underground, split off from the Ruinwalkers to settle beyond the limits of the inner city just 10 moons ago. The tension between both Clans continues to grow stronger and more brutal with each passing moon.

after a long and lonely rule, hare colony has been freed of its tyrant. no cat knows how, no one's paws were responsible, they just vanished overnight. no trace left in the endless snow. now only silence and confusion remains as cats of the colony are left trying desperately to get the deputy to take over.

some even suspect the cats of deer grove may be responsible, but no one can be sure.

Three Clans share a fragile balance across sea, valley, and mountain.

TideClan dwells along the storm-beaten shore, where the ocean both feeds and threatens them. Each year, when typhoon season rises, they are forced to abandon their home and seek refuge inland—placing their survival in the paws of others.

ValeClan, living deep within a sheltered valley of winding tunnels and burrows, controls the land TideClan depends on during these storms. Though an agreement binds them to offer sanctuary, their history is stained with betrayal—having once turned on TideClan at their weakest.

High above them all, RidgeClan watches from the mountain peaks. Known for their craftsmanship and trade, they remain largely neutral, supplying goods to any Clan willing to bargain, while avoiding the conflicts below.

As storm season approaches once more, old tensions begin to stir. TideClan must decide whether to trust ValeClan again, ValeClan must choose between honor and ambition, and RidgeClan may find that even those who stand apart cannot escape the pull of rising conflict.
