Welcome to DC | Legacy Era!
On October 16th, 1988, the Justice League announced the death of beloved member Captain Marvel. In the days that followed, memorials and vigils were held across Fawcett City and the United States.
After the events of his death, the world was never the same. The circumstances around the death of Captain Marvel? A mystery. Batman quietly retired from the Justice League, which would later disband as it left the public eye more and more. The world eerie and quiet.
The death of Captain Marvel had created a schism among the League’s members. As a part of the announcement, the President joined Superman at the podium, and announced that the Hall of Justice would be repurposed as the Department of Superhuman Affairs.
17 years later, 2005, the world had moved on. But evil, as we know, never sleeps. Those mysteries unsolved? Not entirely forgotten. New heroes would rise, as would new evils and foes untold.

Set primarily in New York City, Comic Conquest is an rp server for fans of comic books to make their own characters, with the powers of actual characters from the comics, or entirely custom ones! Become a villain! A hero! A vigilante! Anything! With our primary focus being enjoyment and casual rp, while using DC Comics and Marvel Comics as a basis! So what are you waiting for? Make your character, and start your own story!(Just be sure to read the lore first!)

This server will follow a timeline, with the very first rp of the server starting a total of three years after those of a heroic and villainous variety began appearing. How the world progressed and changed... Is yet to be recorded. But one thing is for certain. By the time it all ends, who can say it will end the way anyone expected?
