Due to the influx of out of place characters, I ask that when you are making a character, please try to have it make sense as to why they'd be at site-148. As this site revolves heavily around thaumiel anomalies and reality bending/adjacent things. I would be happy to explain the lore and help you with your oc!
OC's encouraged/centric, scp canon is at most a guideline and not followed too strictly. If you want to make an scp, it would be wise to make a thaumiel or Anomalous researcher instead of just an scp.
Site-148 is a restricted facility whose existence is not acknowledged much. Access to the information about it is limited, even among high-clearance personnel, details regarding the site remain consistently vague.

4. Flexibility
This is an SCP RP server at the end of the day, not a job. For that reason, it is to be treated as such and not taken too seriously to the point there are conflicts arising outside of the RP scene.

We allow our members to join roleplay units :
* 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐋 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐈𝐓𝐓𝐄𝐄 : which serves as the Committee’s executive body.
* 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : which conducts inspections at various affiliated SCP sites.
* 𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐃𝐄𝐓𝐀𝐂𝐇𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 : which ensure the Ethics Committee’s permanent presence at the sites.

Area-27 “Deepwell” is a semi-literate SCP roleplay server set in the ever-lovely snowy hellscape that is northern canada, presented with the level of professionalism we’re contractually obligated to maintain and the utter sleep deprivation that comes from working here for more then two days. a secluded facility behind a gate lies.
The facility, ever so taken care of. The floors never seen with a speck of dirt upon them. The smell of lingering bleach in the air, the soft sound of lobby music in popular populated areas. It was all so uncomforting, but it was nice to know the site was well taken care of.

Years have passed since the Veil became nothing but a memory, organizations made to thrive in the darkness forced to live in the light, Secrets forced out onto the open and forgotten wars being remembered, yet somehow the world hasn't fallen completely to the knowledge. Paranoia of the next threat does loom nearby, however humanity is known for their adaption and civilization still stands strong. The foundation lost majority of their power, having to take more of a backseat role as the other groups continue the fight for power.

This world focuses more on the various Groups of Interests that are typically left to the dust. GOC, SH, AWCY, MC&D, COTBG, CI, and the other Groups in the official wiki! We allow custom squads to a degree, but no custon GOI's.

We are a multi server GMOD SCP RP Community and we welcome all new users to our community. Enjoy your stay. We started off as a Single server back in 2023 we for a bit shut down but in September of 2024 we decided to relaunch and now in July 2025 with a new resurgence we decided to fully launch.
