Due to the influx of out of place characters, I ask that when you are making a character, please try to have it make sense as to why they'd be at site-148. As this site revolves heavily around thaumiel anomalies and reality bending/adjacent things. I would be happy to explain the lore and help you with your oc!

OC's encouraged/centric, scp canon is at most a guideline and not followed too strictly. If you want to make an scp, it would be wise to make a thaumiel or Anomalous researcher instead of just an scp.

Site-148 is a restricted facility whose existence is not acknowledged much. Access to the information about it is limited, even among high-clearance personnel, details regarding the site remain consistently vague.

Not long after its establishment, a pattern began to emerge across multiple facilities. Several high-risk anomalies. The ones you think of as the face as scps, entities once considered exceptionally difficult, if not impossible, to contain were quietly removed from their original containment cells. No breach reports were filed nor any recovery efforts initiated.

Foundation site directors started to issu statements: all transfers were intentional, and part of an ongoing project authorized at the highest level. Further details were intentionally cloudy.

Discrepancies persist. Some staff claim the anomalies were never transferred at all, perhaps neutralized, or even stolen.
