What if the Fire Nation didn't destroy all the airbenders, but only sought to hunt the avatar? Ozai went after the Earth and Water Avatars, aiming to get a Fire Nation born avatar to brainwash and bring to his side as a weapon, which happened. The Fire Nation still seeks world domination , so there is still war, and no war in Ba Sing Se (allegedly) All og characters from ATLA are able to be played.

**Claims**
All characters must be 18+, and ocs will be allowed.
You can start with 2 canon characters. However, they shouldn’t be familial or romantically related to each other. You also can’t make up two romantic partners unless they are ocs.

**Dice**
For fights, we will be using a 20 sided server dice.Depending how strong the character is and where they are on their journey, they get dice buffs/debuffs. This also helps to keep from a ‘newbie’ muse suddenly being able to defeat a character high in power/ranking.

Feel free to use the dice for anything other than fights, but it’s not required.

Welcome to Republic City, where not everything is as it seems.
While we remain canon to the Legend of Korra, this server offers an altered perception of the storyline, beginning with book 1: Air.

The faces might look the same, but the way they behave may be different, or certain characters might be altered to suit a more mature setting. We will eventually reach an end to the Equalist storyline, where the journey might be different, and the way they are defeated might not be the same, but we will eventually reach book 2, 3, and 4. Thirteen years ago, the Hundred Year War ended in a final confrontation between Avatar Aang and Fire Lord Ozai. With Ozai defeated and Zuko ascending to the throne, peace spread across the nations as a new era began. From that peace rose Republic City, built as a symbol of unity between cultures and nations. Now that unity is starting to fracture. Following the arrest of the Black Hawk Triad's leader by Chief Toph Beifong, Republic City's criminal underworld has collapsed into chaos. Rival gangs now fight violently for territory and influence as a bloody power vacuum spreads through the city.

Simultaneously, the Red Lotus has emerged from the shadows and they're stronger than ever. After seizing Kyoshi Island and forcing out the rest of the Kyoshi Warriors, they have established a growing stronghold dedicated to dismantling institutions and their leaders before them, and even the balance of the world itself. With the police stretched thin, gangs warring in the streets, and the Red Lotus fueling instability across the region, Republic City stands on the cusp of collapse. In a city divided by order, chaos, and ambition what role will history remember you as in its annihilation or ascension?

It is said only the avatar master of all 5 elements can stop the oncoming war. Nobody knows why the avatar vanished, nor do they know when the next will rise. ⸻ Avatar: The Elemental Cycle ⸻
The year is 58 BG. In Avatar's canon timeline, this is the year of Sozin's coronation. In our timeline, the world watches in anticipation as Fire Lord Taiso's illness threatens to take him. The question remains of who will succeed the Fire Nation, the currently heavily favored controller of the court, Princess Akira, or her elder brother, Prince Zalik. The world is currently in an unprecedented time of peace, though minor skirmishes still occur between the Four Nations. This peace is in part due to Roku growing to be a competent Avatar, the Air Nomads keeping the peace internationally, and the diplomatic work that keeps disputes from boiling over into open war.

However, as the winds change and time shapes each of these nations, this peace can only last so long, and who knows when things may boil over.

—> 18+: We are an adult server, so all members must be verified as 18+. This includes characters who must also be 18+. Don't be a weirdo.
—> Players from various experiences convening to create a cohesive story

19 years ago, the avatar was killed in battle by enemies that took advantage of his old age. They were using a spirit bending ritual to try and break the avatar cycle and prevent his reincarnation. The ritual failed and the new avatar was born among the southern water tribe, however something in the cycle was corrupted by the ritual, causing an avatar, or at least someone capable of using all four elements, to appear in the earth, fire and air benders as well. The phenomenon caused a tension between the various powers each claiming that their avatar was the "true" avatar.

However despite the claims of each group that the other avatars are imposters, they all seem to share a bond with each other. They can feel that another is nearby and even communicate if both are willing.

In recent years the Fire Nation and Earth Kingdom have been engaging in small skirmishes along shared borders, each claiming that the other is the aggressor. Open war hasn't broken out yet but mercenary groups have been flocking to each to find their fortune when it does.

The Cult of the Cycle has begun hunting the new avatars, uncaring of if they are fake or not. They want to end the cycle of the avatar for good and accidentally creating extra ones has put them on a much more violent crusade to correct it.

The server is an AU with no current Canon characters existing and the 100 year war did not happen, at least not in the same way. The southern water tribes were not nearly annihilated and the air temples still exist. We don't use stats, preferring a more laid back honor system that encourages creativity with your bending over who has more speed and power.

All avatars are currently claimed. Earth king, water tribe chiefs and air temple masters but North still available. We have a firm "use it or lose it" rule and two weeks of unexplained inactivity will have the position reopen.
