Set in the year of 1996, 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞𝐧'𝐬 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 is a community centered solely around Tatsuki Fujimotos' on-going manga, 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐧; a completely unique, non-canon, original setting that builds on the noir aspects of the aforementioned universe, rather than the on-going plot. With a focus on character-centered developments and fulfilling arcs, we aim to expand more upon the "adult" themes of the series.
As such, to those who are interested, we promise;
─ An original take on the 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐚𝐰 𝐌𝐚𝐧 manga, with utmost respect and adherence to the source material, as to best stay true to the series;
─ A non-tiered, anti-powerscaling character system, where writing and creativity matters more than randomness and playing into the "main character" stereotype;
─ An impartial, fair and just approach to roleplaying as a whole, where everyone is treated in a tactful manner, no matter if they are a novice roleplayer or a competent writer, where nobody is considered a favorite;
─ Chance to play out long-winded arcs and stories, with necessary aid and help being provided to make them come to a finalization;
─ Welcoming, non-hermetic community that doesn't gatekeep nor push away those who would wish to join it;

The year is 1932, And In the bustling city of Lavender River, North Carolina. As the Great War fades into memory, the prohibition is showing signs of fading, and the economy is showing no signs of recovery; things aren’t looking great.
People keep their heads down, and many still turn to other methods to keep themselves and their families afloat.
But for others, crime and poverty are the least of their problems.
People go missing in the woods, others swear they’ve seen pale figures hanging around speakeasies, drinking crimson wine. Men in nice suits carrying guns, who are neither the local crime families nor the dry agents everyone knew to avoid.

The Great War is over, but the scars remain quiet men with haunted eyes, streets paved with broken promises, and a government desperate to impose virtue through Prohibition. Liquor is outlawed. Morality is enforced. But in the smoke-filled underbelly of the city, sin has become an industry.
From the Bronx to Brooklyn, from Harlem to Hell’s Kitchen, gangs rise and fall like the tides of the Hudson. Speakeasies hum beneath every streetlight, the air thick with jazz, whiskey, and whispers of betrayal. The cops drink as much as they confiscate, and every federal raid births three more bootleg routes overnight.
Whispers spread of The Four Kings unseen figures said to rule the city’s underworld from the shadows.
No one knows their faces. No one speaks their names.
Each controls a silent empire: the docks, the politicians, the gambling dens, the bodies that vanish without trace.
