Cursed outbreak is a rp server focused on jujutsu kaisen! Having just gone through a revamp and entering part 2 of our story we are one of the rarer servers who focuses on character development instead of being a hub for CRP fiends. As such as focus on character freedom and roleplay expression above all else.
There are 3 major factions characters can be part of. JJH or jujutsu high focusing on sorcerers, curse users which includes humans and curses, most of which work for Kenjaku and the JPD or jujutsu police department funded by the government in japan to militarize jujutsu, each comes with their own benefits.
We currently have many important roles and traits available for any who want to make the character they want. We even have a unique system for claiming cursed techniques IRP and all characters have the potential to not only grow in strength but achieve things like having multiple cursed techniques or powerful domain expansions.

Recently, there was an issue with one of the key pure barriers, it had some issues and some sorcerers were meant to investigate it, until it exploded. The barrier broke and hard. Curses over the nation managed to strengthen as one of the key weakening deterrents had broken. Which made it so a curse was 1:1 with a sorcerer. Recently, Jujutsu High had ramped up enrollments while curses are amassing strength at a pace unseen in any era prior.

Ryoumen Sukuna made a choice no one expected, and in that moment, Kenjaku and Uraume fell with him, erasing a future that was never meant to change. What followed was not chaos, but something quieter. History reshaped itself. By the Meiji Era, the Kamo Clan rose untouched by scandal, guiding jujutsu society from the shadows. In the Shōwa Era, that fragile order was stained with blood when Raizen Gojo defied those who sought to control him, leaving behind a warning that strength could not be contained forever.
By the modern age, the world had begun to feel wrong. Curses no longer came from hatred alone, but from something deeper, something almost human. In 2018, everything collapsed. The old order fell, disasters spread, and from the ruins, a new power rose, offering control where none remained.
Now, the year is 2060. The barriers are gone. Cursed energy spreads beyond Japan, drawing a new generation of sorcerers into a world already on the edge. But the past has not stayed buried. Ancient curses stir once more, and the question remains. Will this new era survive what the last could not?

The jujutsu society has been around for centuries—and flourishes relatively well. Though classes at Jujutsu Technical are still decently small, there seems to be an odd influx of new students in these most recent years compared to the last few. Though curse users exist, they are far from common. The last attack against Jujutsu society was decades ago in an event known as the "Black Nights" incident—and none have happened since. However, the recent influx of Jujutsu Sorcerers is worrying the higher-ups, as curse users may be becoming more common as well.
Sorcerers who survived the infamous Black Nights Incident have started developing symptoms of a sort of virus. What exactly it is, or the end result, is unknown.
