Recently, there was an issue with one of the key pure barriers, it had some issues and some sorcerers were meant to investigate it, until it exploded. The barrier broke and hard. Curses over the nation managed to strengthen as one of the key weakening deterrents had broken. Which made it so a curse was 1:1 with a sorcerer. Recently, Jujutsu High had ramped up enrollments while curses are amassing strength at a pace unseen in any era prior.
