‎ voldemort is back, but the ministry denies it. dumbledore’s smeared, harry’s called a liar, and hogwarts is slipping out of control. umbridge arrives with sweet smiles and brutal rules. detentions hurt, teachers are watched, and students are silenced. harry, hermione, and ron form dumbledore’s army in secret, but your characters have their own choices to make. join the da, side with umbridge, support the death eaters, or try to stay neutral as tensions rise. fifth year is full of secrets, rebellion, betrayal, and danger, and every student/professor has a story.

timeline ﹒﹒ this roleplay takes place during the 1995–1996 school year at hogwarts (year 5). this is the same year the ministry sends dolores umbridge to hogwarts, and dumbledore’s army is formed in secret by harry, hermione, and ron.

important note  ﹒﹒ this is not a strict retelling of canon. some events and character outcomes from the books/movies have been changed. for example: cedric diggory is alive and continuing as a student at hogwarts. characters who were not present at hogwarts in year 5 are allowed in this rp (ex: former professors, aurors, etc.). they can be involved in the school again for rp purposes. you are free to create ocs who attend hogwarts, teach, work in the ministry, etc., as long as they fit within the universe.
