Magneto reinforced the brotherhood.
Charles Xavier restarted the X-men program and his school for gifted youngsters.
William Stryker remains large, forming the purifiers.

Second Conflict, the world in which mutants are walking weapons and considered threats by humanity. The relationship between mutants and humans began to deteriorate when jealousy and hatred began to brew towards the mutants.
First conflict was a bloody mess, it escalated the violence between humans and mutants that strained the relationship between the two.
Present time, Second Conflict has occurred and the mutants paid the price dearly for their transgressions towards humanity and is now severely oppressed and living in hiding after The Second Conflict.
Will you be the change for the betterment for the future of mutants or humanity's destroyer.

Contexte =
Cinq ans se sont écoulés depuis les événements tumultueux de Cuba. L’équipe de First Class et les anciens de Shaw s’en sont tous sorti. Après de nombreuses conversations, ils ont tous décidé de s’unir pour une cause commune. Ils ont donc, sous la direction de Charles Xavier et Erik Lehnsherr, on fondé l’Institut Xavier et les X-Men pour sauver et aider les mutants et essayer de trouver une paix entre mutants et humains.
À Cuba, Charles a été gravement blessé par Erik. Bien que cette blessure n'ait pas paralysé Charles, elle l'a laissé avec des difficultés occasionnelles pour marcher. Malgré cela, Charles n'a pas accusé Erik, et les deux hommes ont trouvé un terrain d'entente. Avec l'aide d'Azazel, Erik et Raven ont pu se rendre à l'hôpital, tandis que d'autres membres du groupe se sont retrouvés au manoir.
Erik et Charles ont longuement discuté, réalisant qu'ils partageaient des objectifs communs. Ils ont compris que pour atteindre leurs buts, ils devaient adopter différentes approches. Cette entente a conduit à la création de l'Institut Xavier et des X-Men, un groupe dédié à la protection et à l'éducation des mutants. Cela fait maintenant 3 ans que l’institut Xavier pour jeunes surdoués existe.
