The Omnics had invented their own versions of these technologies, Sombra, Moira and Symmetra created their own factions, corporations and positions of power. Most of Russia is now controlled by the Omnics, Symmetra created a massive corporate empire based in India, that spread across the middle east.

Sombra continued her program, using it to gain control across the US continent, Sombra has Canada, the US and Mexico in the palm of her hand and wrapped around her finger, with the exception of rural areas.

Meanwhile Moira went and returned to Ireland, utilizing technology to bend the European nations to her will. Overwatch would secretly reform with the objective of destroying the factions from within, despite their illegal state.

And The Divine Choir being concentrated mostly within europe or the middle east.

What remains left becomes contested between the three as they both hearts... and minds. Very unwillingly.
