We organize research, advocacy support, and public education projects across topics like climate change, human rights, housing, civic reform and more.

Whether you’re experienced or just getting started, there is a place for you to contribute in ways that fit your interests and skills.

Inside the community, you can get involved in ongoing work, learn about current issues, and collaborate with others who are focused on creating tangible change.

No experience is required, and participation can start immediately!

Lopala is an indie social networking platform that provides the means for users to create grassroots climate adaptation projects and connect with others. Our value lies in how we reconfigure social as more than just passive scrolling, and create a means by which people of all ages can foster their natural curiosity, creativity, problem solving, critical thinking, agency and entertainment.

Our server is for you to connect with each other about their Lopala projects and a chill space in general for us to discuss ideas and join events. We just launched in February this year.
