Convincd his trick had workd, th discipl smirkd and opnd his hand to rlas th bird.
But all that lay on his palm was th bird's cold corps.

As th discipl froz in confusion, th mastr whisprd sadly:

In that instant, th discipl ralizd h had not provn his mastr's incomptnc, but th crulty insid himslf, and h collapsd whr h stood.
