The current world is set in 2070. Countries are technologically advanced and entering surveillance states, jobs are AI-automated and the world sits in a gig-economy. Rent is incredibly high, as is the general cost of living. The environment is decaying and the air is foul. Most developed countries are just corporate turfs, with governments owned by billionaire shareholders who typically encroach the rights of their citizens.
You are an operator, someone who has just stumbled across OpenHarbors, an underground network composed of multiple nodes. You participate in Wetwork to get by, hoping to make enough to pay your bills.
OpenHarbors uses multiple mud-like interfaces for roleplay purposes and building an immersive setting, simplifying TTRPG elements and rulesets for a more immersive / gamified experience.
WHO CAN PLAY?
Anyone can play as long as they are over the age of 16. OpenHarbors gameplay relies deeply on logic, strategy and player's resourcefulness in the face of conflict. For fans of cyberpunk and Neuromancer.

**What did I stumble upon?**
Rokugan Gold is a Godot-Engined fan-game trying to emulate the Emerald Empire following the L5R4e ruleset. It's objective is to create a living, persistent world where players can anchor their Roleplay in a sea of active NPCs. While DM events and plots are to be expected, lulls in staff activities ought not to be felt as a lack of content. Beyond the L5R4e ruleset, its development is heavily inspired by Crusader Kings 2, Victoria 2, Mount and Blades, Dwarf Fortress and the Romance of the Three Kingdoms RPG series.
The game is a mixture of a MUD-like interface and an ASCII-tile map. General actions and wide movements are done in the former, more granular actions, such as combat or interactions with the NPCs, in the latter. NPCs are not static: They each have their objectives which they will try to fulfill based on their personality and capacities. The denizens of Rokugan are not all-knowing, their knowledge of the world is based on the exchange and understanding of the occurences of the world.
Each Great Clan is fully integrated within the game, each with their realities, challenges and goals. The same goes for the Minor Clans, naturally.

While still in development, Rokugan Gold is rapidly advancing in its development. Our gates are finally opened to the public, to allow players to prepare their characters and give feedback.

You and 15 other of humanity's most brilliant and heroic individuals awaken on a spaceship. Your mission: save your race from the Mush, a fungal hive-mind of bodysnatching aliens. 2 members of your crew are secretly infected and are plotting to destroy you from the inside. Will you eradicate the Mush and find the cure? Or will you join them and put an end to humanity's last hope?
The game is played in real time over the course of several days, during which you will interact with and befriend(?) 15 other players in a fight for survival in deep space. If you like the concept of Among Us but wish it were a much more in-depth and immersive experience, this is the game for you!
The game is in active development; new characters, features, and game modes are being added all the time, and its growing playerbase is friendly, welcoming, always willing to help a new player learn!
