Anomalous is a Discord role-playing server based in the half life universe after the second episode of Half life 2. This follows behind both the main story and our own made up one. It's set in City 8 in the year 2025, a loyalist City with Combine forces in the region still strong and in control. Due to the highly loyalist status of the City and several advancements in technology even before the Combine occupation, the City's residents have limited access to several augmentations and the City itself is more advanced and futuristic. It has a cyberpunkish aesthetic yet possesses a more wastelandish look outside of the City due to the constant resource extraction by the Combine.

We run our RPs with Helix on Gmod. We are a small group looking to grow. All actions are done IC (Applications/whitelists, joining factions/meeting people). All factions are looking for players (Rebel, CWU, MPF, OTA). Voice chat will be enabled. You do not need to do a /me for every action i.e. no /me bends over to pick up the pile of scrap - just look down and press E. In this server we set out to make an RP that is *mostly* like the base HL2 game.
