Welcome to Synthesis - a Lore SMP that changes every season, with a fresh new modpack, world and characters!

We have just started our fantasy based season 3 which involves cobblemon, magic + tech mods like Spectrum and Oritech, with custom starters ! We're also invested into RP, with character sheets, lore carrds and more ! We're very player-agency focused, with a town system and custom made origins.

The lore begins with your character being abducted by anomaly portals, whisking them away from their homes and trapping them within a brand new dimension, supervised in it by a powerful organisation that seems to be avoiding answering any questions. How will you make use of the magic found in this world and get home ? What powerful being lurks within this dimension ?

Fallen Crown SMP

Once, there was an Empire. Nobody really knows what happened to it.

What's left is ruins, old books nobody can read, and a goddess that supposedly abandoned her people. The world moved on... or tried to.

Now, a new generation is building something on top of the rubble. Some want to restore the old glory. Some just want to survive. Some are searching for answers that maybe shouldn't be found.

This is a roleplay SMP with many factions, history, politics, and a lore that grows with every player that joins.

What to expect:

Orseus, an ancient dragon carrying the reputation of a goddess, passed. Her death sent shockwaves across the continents; physically and spiritually. From her rotting body, a red aurora was cast upon the sky, sending a cascade of corrupt energy down Astervale. As a result, the draconic race almost went extinct. In their place, rose the humanoids, set with conviction.

This aurora, known as the “Shroud,” created a new legion of species. This array of monsters tormented the remaining population of Astervale, terror following generation after generation. Soon, this horror twisted into normalcy. Learning to adapt, the humanoid races developed ways to combat the creatures of the Shroud, achieving as close as one can get to a comfortable life.

However, not all of these monsters were pure evil, some were simply born out of confusion, seeking a place in this new world. From there, a political argument began. What place could those of the Shroud have in the four continents? Did they deserve to live a life co-existing among settlements? Or would it save the energy to let them rot under the blade of a sword?

Astervale is a fantasy world that takes cultural inspiration from the Victorian Era and mechanical advancements from the 1920’s Industrial Era! The humans sent out a message to the galaxy, containing a blueprint for an FTL drive that allowed the aliens to space travel freely. Yet, when they arrived, all they were met with was a wasteland without life. But, unexpected space debris made most of their ships crash during landing. The expedition for more technology now became a survival mission. Without a way to contact their homeworlds, they explore this barren world. During this time, they find clues on how the humans lived and what caused the sudden apocalypse. What you do in this new location is your choice.

Avarice (S1) is a Lore-Based, Modern Fantasy SMP set in a world overrun by nature.
