Welcome to Charlotte, North Carolina. The universe of HEROES’ ANTHESIS is one like our own, that changed suddenly in 2018. The outbreak of an alien virus had caused humans to begin developing what many would call “Superpowers.” While many didn’t receive these powers, those who had , known as Empowered, were excited, overjoyed, and felt special. After a few weeks though, the world boiled over, and those with powers created gangs, fought each other, and forced the government back.
It took a year for the United States to finally regain control over its lands, and secure itself from the threat of future rebellion by the hands of Empowered people who wish for harm and chaos. Through the President's plans to secure the nation, it has undergone military control and monitoring. Every major city is monitored and carefully run by the military, and all civilians are required to be tested for powers each year, until one is discovered.
While the US Government attempts to make life better for the Empowered, not all support these ideals, and have segregated the Empowered and forced them out of normal life. Those with powers find it hard to hold down jobs, or are discriminated upon, with some choosing to even refuse hiring them. Crime, as a result, is not an uncommon path for Empowered people.

Inspired by worlds like Parahumans and UnOrdinary, this server welcomes you to New Jersey, location of the main HQ of the World Heroes Foundation (WHF). In this world, the strongest are those who were born lucky, and rule among the population, untouched and beloved by most, while the weak at the bottom live subpar lives and struggle to get by.
With this power disparity, some at the bottom began to grow restless and some of their more extreme members, formed the organization known as the Iron Claw, assassin groups who attempt to slaughter the strong through numbers and coordination.
So, which will you choose? A Hero who tries to save lives? A member of the bloodthirsty Iron Claw? A sole vigilante/villain with your own sense of what's right? Either way, just hope that the wheel has mercy on you.....
