Welcome to Astria, a land of mystery and constant battles for power, where the divine rule.

Attend masquerades, in which the music is hypnotic and the masks seem to resemble animals. Be a servant, or manipulate your way through the court. Some are able to make contact with the divine. Others find their place in the council.
Each person here seems unique, especially the ones in power. Their personalities and traditions strongly contradict each other, yet they rule the kingdom in something similar to harmony. Still, their seemingly never ending hunger for authority, their constant attempts to humiliate and de-throne each other, are worrying to the weak.
The strong play the game, participate and see if they can get their own share of the prize.
Even in the servant halls, tension rises. Betrayals, alliances, and individuals sacrifice everything for a place at their ruler's side.
The divine watch over it all. Some hide, others seek worship. There is one thing they all have in common; they all toy with the people of Astria as if they are chess pieces on a board.
Navigate the tension and betrayals. Learn to adapt, live with it all, or crumble underneath the pressure.
