Introducing a wholly unique setting that serves as an Alternate Universe for Remnant, where the end of the Great War has resulted in a world filled with unintended consequences.

Most notably, and where the main story takes place, is the Vytal Academy. The driving idea behind this server is the 'what-if' of what if Vale, Haven, Atlas, and Shade Academy never existed? Instead, a massive Academy on the symbolic island of Vytal is built, standing as an icon of global cooperation where promising Huntsmen and Huntresses from all over can learn and train.
However, despite Vytal's best intentions to become a representation of peace and cooperation, the world of Remnant has other plans. With technology advancing and Menagerie organizing itself into a full Kingdom, stronger Grimm roam the earth, and the world sits on a Cold War between Atlas and Menagerie.
With the White Fang organized into Menagerie, advancements and advocates for Faunus rights are further decentralized, only now known as the general 'Castle Canaries', named after the famous Fort Castle battle that resulted in the success of the Faunus Rights Revolution.
With a changed world that has shown to be increasingly tense, can the four headmasters of Vytal: Ironwood, Lionheart, Ozpin, and Theodore, keep the peace and ensure Vytal remains a symbol that all Huntresses and Huntsmen strive for? Or will Vytal meet a similar fate to its alternate contemporaries and fall either through hubris or by apocalyptic danger?

| INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Halo: The Human-Covenant War! We aim to grow a community of both new and old Halo fans and roleplayers, accepting any and all to help build a new story, our story. Taking place in 2550 and being a complete AU, this leaves room for all members to express their creative freedoms and have an experience that they can look back fondly on. Members can either play as the defiant UNSC, or the overbearing and inexorable Covenant! Along with this, we provide a custom made sector to fight for, which contains notable systems such as Meridian and Algolis.
| THE WAR
In 2549 the Covenant have breached the Hestia sector and glassed Algolis, sending the UNSC and coalition forces reeling from it's loss. In a consolidation effort, Battlegroup Carolina was formed from the remnants, their one last bulwark from the incoming Covenant armada that threatens to take Meridian. The Covenant seek many prizes in the sector; an uncharted planet, dormant artifacts, the location of Earth, and for many, repentance for past failures. As for the humans, they seek survival.
Now, in 2550, the Combined Fleet of Convocation postures to attack the Hestia sector. You can join them and bring glory to your hegemony, or, you can join the battlegroup and fight for one more precious second in this all-or-nothing campaign.

UNIVERSE LORE
In the far reaches of space, the Viltrumite Empire travels from planet to planet, spreading peace and prosperity to planets that it touches. While the galaxy seemed to be brought to justice and tranquility, Earth had its own problems. While Earth has a variety of people with super powers, they all come from different origins and walks of life. Some choose to be heroes, some choose to be villains, and some choose that gray area in between. While many work alongside the government, some choose not to, while even the people who live below the sea would also partake in crime fighting. Alongside the Government, multiple heroes would form a team, the Guardians of the Globe. This team would be made up on War Woman, a woman with super human strength, Immortal, a super human who has lived for centuries, and can regenerate, Martian Hunter, a Martian who had come to Earth, Darkwing, an non powered hero who fought with Gadgets, Red Rush, a speedster, Aquarius, an Atlantean from the sea, Green Ghost, a human who gains powers after ingesting a gem, and a part time member, Omni Man, a Viltrumite. The team would work together, conquering many foes and protecting Earth. However, on one dark day, inside the Guardians' facility, the bodies of each of the members of the Guardians would be found, as well as the barely alive body of Omni Man. This is where our story starts, with Omni Man fresh out of recovery, and a mystery to solve.

The world, it was a complicated place. One day, years ago, Quirks had formed. And it was complicated, but alas, the world adapted. In fact Quirks became more common than Quirkless, and the world was adapted to that, fighting and protecting villainy with Quirk versus Quirk. Raising new heroes. It was the normal.
However, one day? That all changed.
Someone's Quirk, while most didn't really know whose it was, had the ability to spread disease. Everyone who knew about it? They thought this user had it under control. Was immune even.
However...
As the time passed, they discovered that they themselves had caught the infection of their own Quirk.
They lost control, as were the affects of the Quirk, they lost their control of themselves entirely even. And the Quirk spread. It was no longer controlled. It was no longer under wraps. It was everywhere.
It was now a full widespread contagion, with no one who knew how to cure or stop it.
Those once renowned for being powerful, and able to protect the Quirkless, were now feared, as their Quirks that once brought them fame? Now were volatile weapons that once infected, even they would lose control over.
The disease, the Quirk Killing Disease, as it is often called.
