Śubhaṁ bhavatu,
This community has been created with a clear and sincere purpose: to offer a respectful and authentic space for the study and discussion of Hindu philosophies, practice, and tradition, grounded in the timeless wisdom of the Vedas, Upaniṣads, Itihāsas, and the living sampradāyas.
In recent times, many online spaces discussing Hinduism have leaned toward versions of Dharma that are adapted, altered, or selectively reinterpreted, shaped more by trends than by paramparā. While such spaces may serve a role, Sanātana Dharma, by its very nature, is nitya. It is not born in time, nor does it shift with the changing winds of opinion. It is not a product to be rebranded, reimagined, or reshaped to suit convenience. Rather, it is a living flame, a steady dīpa of jñāna, sādhana, and anubhava -- carried forward by ṛṣis, mahātmas, and sincere seekers across generations.
Our mission is simple and clear:
- To preserve and present the essence of Sanātana Dharma in its true, unembellished, and undistorted form.
- To support respectful dialogue and honest inquiry, rooted in śāstra and lived experience.
- To create a welcoming space for seekers, scholars, and practitioners from all walks of life.
- To celebrate the diversity within Sanātana Dharma, while upholding its core principles with care and fidelity.
We thank you for being here at the beginning of this auspicious journey. May this space grow into a saṅgha guided by wisdom (jñāna), humility (vinaya), and devotion (bhakti).

We are a community devoted to the exploration of the school of Hindu thought known variably as Neo-Vedānta, Navya Vedānta or Vijñāna Vedānta. This school emerges from the teachings of Ramakrishna Paramhamsa and Ma Sharada and was propagated universally by their famous disciple, Swami Vivekananda.
The ideals of Vedānta as expressed in the Bhagavad Gitā - such as the strength, masculinity, and courage to face the hardships of life, the persistence, steadfastness and durability to the quest for Wisdom, love, devotion and selfless dutifulness - were largely lost in the intervening centuries of the Medieval Ages. In this period, darker manifestations of spirituality emerged, primarily in escapist desires to flee from the hardships of samsāra and into the lap of Brahmā. Disguised in the flavour of Sātvik sagacity, this Tāmas led Hinduism down an abysmal path of defeat, self-denial, failure, poverty, superstition and eventually the corruption of Dharma. In the nineteenth century, Swami Vivekananda brought back Vedānta to the pedestal it had stood on in the times of Jaivali and Bādrāyana - as the philosophy of Kings and Warriors. We gather in this server to learn about the valid message of Shri Krishna, which inspires Might and Mercy in equal measure, as expressed by the holy Ramakrishna Paramhamsa and his disciple.

📿 DHARMA | HinduismYouth.com
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 We are not just a Discord server.
We are a digital Hindu youth institution built for serious seekers.
A place where learning comes first, not passive scrolling.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🧠 What we actually do:
• Structured classes (core of everything)
• Live & recorded lectures
• Weekly deep discussions
• Guided practices & upāsanā
• Reflective exercises that force clarity
• Quizzes & challenges to test understanding
• Ongoing learning systems, not random content
This is not surface-level content.
This is real study.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
⚡ Why we exist:
Most of us were taught religion like mythology or rulebooks.
Rituals were given. Meaning was not.
DHARMA exists to correct that.
We go back to the source code:
🕉️ Vedanta & Upāsanā
No dilution.
No oversimplified “feel good” spirituality.
We teach the actual metaphysics of the Self
because our generation can handle truth.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🔥 What makes us different:
• Focus on understanding, not blind belief
• Built for youth who want depth
• Serious but still welcoming
• Learning that actually changes how you think
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌍 Our broader mission:
We aim to help Hindus in any way whatsoever
Education
Charity
Community
Even areas most communities ignore
If it helps Hindus, we do it.
No limitation.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🧘 Who this is for:
• Curious beginners
• Serious students
• Anyone tired of shallow explanations
• Anyone who wants to actually understand dharma
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🚀 If you want real clarity, real philosophy, and real growth
Join DHARMA.

A server for Hindus of any background!
We try our best to have laid-back moderation, but we have ZERO tolerance for Hindutva (or other nationalist groups) or discrimination based on caste, sect, sexuality, &c.
Non-Hindus are of course welcome as well, whether they are interested in joining Hinduism or merely curious!
