**what is md/maladaptive daydreaming?**
- its an unofficial but researched phenomenon where people have **extremely vivid, immersive, and long daydreams** that can feel like living in another world. 𖦹
- it can become an unhealthy coping mechanism (sometimes can be healthy!) and affects everyday life. 𖦹
- there has been research into it being a possibile disorder, but it hasn't been confirmed. 𖦹
- around 1% of people experience MD. 𖦹
