HalcyonGrid was a fork from the OpenSimulator Project in 2010 (Similar to Second Life https://SecondLife.com). Halcyon Worlds are Virtual World Simulators requiring 3D Viewing Software called a "Viewer" that is utilized to login to the world, with an avatar to move around in-world and 'talk' to other people through nearby chat, IM, group chat(s) and sometimes voice. Although that's as much like a game as it gets. Besides that there could be role-play groups in any Halcyon World, which are optional. Additionally the feature of teleporting between grids (also known by some on OpenSim as "hypergrid") was disabled/removed on Halcyon. This Discord server/group is intended to be a place for users of different Halcyon Grids to connect and share as they like.
Would like to welcome all those who were previously on InWorldz, which was a Halcyon World, at least for a while before it was sadly lost. (unfortunately many users lost all their content on that grid)

The picture used is a sailboat in Real Life(RL) named "Halcyon" and I thought that was fitting since sailboats can be enjoyed in Halcyon Worlds to sail on the virtual seas with.
