"A CHANCE OF A LIFETIME," Professor Dumbledore announced on the morning of September 2nd, his eyes twinkling under half moon spectacles. "Our very first annual vacation to the Ise of Echoes, the Wyvern Resort!"
Whispers went up amongst the Student's in the Great Hall. *Vacation? Did he say Vacation?* No homework, a chance to ride in whatever an aeroplane is, and a tropical island to enjoy for two entire weeks. Who wouldn't want a chance for that?
It wasn't until the plane ride that things began to take an... unexpected turn.
The plane ride was full of the same pureblood versus the rest of the school mentality that's typical in Hogwarts; until a lightning storm came out of nowhere once they were nearly at the Isle of Echoes.
It shot balls of lightning at the plane, sending it careening and nearly crashing if it weren't for the pilots quick thinking. They managed to land the plane on the flight path just outside of the Hangar.
And...
Utter silence.
No guests to greet them. Not a single person to help guide the plane *into* the Hangar.
The marauders and the rest of the school were utterly alone and it was up to them to figure out the mystery of *why.*
