Welcome to Ink & Ambition!
We are a server focused on providing experienced adult writers a positive experience to share their craft. This community seeks to help you grow as a writer by offering constructive criticism opportunities, weekly or monthly events, and chances to build up your talent and your pieces by daily conversations about writing. We want to see Ink & Ambition thrive, and we will do our best to ensure things run smoothly!
Our focus is on encouraging members to develop their writing and critical thinking skills. We do this by providing:
• a welcoming, non-judgmental and mature close-knit environment. We are a 21+ LGBTQ+ server that expects our members to treat each other with respect and kindness.
• on-topic discussion. We are dedicated and eager to talk shop about the writing process, stories and characters, and the creative thoughts that led you to them!
• writing challenges. We provide weekly and monthly events and other ways to motivate you to write or get thinking about your writing process.
• writing critiques. We assure quality, substantial feedback on your pieces with an intimate community you can trust.
We do have an application process that you must go through before granted access to the server. This is for us to see where your writing is and how you talk about others. It's easy to fill out and gives us an idea of who you are!
