The folks here are really easygoing and most everyone is at least semi-lit, if not more. The setting is immersive and and overall enjoyable experience.

The most important thing for me to start with is how safe of a space this server is for me. I love horror and gore, but I’ve very clear about not wanting to engage in ERP and it is very respected in the server. From staff to other members, I have never felt judged or pressured into a situation where I have to ERP. It was a really big worry of mine when I first joined, but I no longer think about it or find myself anxious.

I like how the staff actively work to ensure the space is a comfortable place for adults, as that’s a really big thing for me. While I don’t have knowledge on any big issues or events that have occurred on Eikon, so I cannot say I know the full story of anyone who has posted a negative review, I do know that a lot of care goes into making decisions.

Being a moderator is hard and often, you have to make decisions that are difficult and can paint you as a villain to those without a full understanding of the situation. I’m not trying to say I understand what’s happened or that I can speak on the matter, but that as an outside person, you can’t judge situations without knowing the full information, which you likely won’t receive because the staff is good about keeping things private so people aren’t affected or mass-spammed. (I’m rather grateful, as I don’t enjoy knowing all the issues or “drama” of servers. I just want to enjoy my time and they do very good at not bringing outsiders into it.)

It’s a space with a lot of creative freedom and any modifications made to submissions are reasonable and generally clarification to better understand powerful abilities. I don’t feel like any one character is highly favored or important. My first impression made me feel that way, but after talking to various members, I came to realize that wasn’t the case. If you actually look at the roleplays happening in the server, no one character is more important than another.

I can definitely say that there’s a few things that need improvement, but they’re not deal-breakers, just things that would make it a safer place. I would like to see things better labeled for NSFW, as there’s been a few cases when I join general VC and it’s clear the VC needs to be moved to the NSFW channel. I’m the kind of person who likes things overly-clarified. The lore and understanding of different species is sometimes confusing, so perhaps having a frequently asked questions segment could be helpful for new members.

P.S. For full transparency, I was asked to leave review. Personally, I didn’t feel pressured to do this, nor did I feel like there would be consequences for leaving a negative review. Everything I’ve said is my genuine opinion on the server and is not manipulated nor said as a result of being asked.

This server is absolutely amazing! The aesthetic is gorgeous and a lot of effort has been put into the lore. There are plenty of roleplay opportunities and hardly a limit to the imagination of character creation, and the atmosphere of the server is friendly and humorous. Don't be afraid to stop by and check it out!
