City of Stars

Welcome to New Harriston - a big city on the east cost home to a booming entertainment industry and the renowned Weltraum Institute of Technology. Not all is as it seems, however - in back alleys, beneath the skin of the world, the City of Stars is also home to a rising population of thaumaturges; people who are able to do, to put it bluntly, magic. Of course, they're not without opposition - the Paracausal Accessions Divison of the FBI is present in the city, keenly aware of the risk thaumaturges pose to public safety and national security.

This modern fantasy story doesn't just follow this conflict, however - characters can be anyone and everyone in New Harriston, from a stressed WIT student to a NHPD detective unknowingly lifting the veil on magic, as well as - of course - thaumaturges and PAD members themselves. Conflicts are resolved with an ultra light system of stats and dice - or purely through text, depending on what you, the player, thinks makes the most sense.
