SPLATLANDS: CLEAN-UP CREW

Following the events of Side Order, Inkadia and the Splatlands have been at relative ease. Relative ease as in 'we're not actively under threat and we're just as chaotic as usual'. That type of ease. All seemed to be going well.

Right up until someone important blundered.

You know those gear abilities you use in games? The dude behind that invention messed up and now they're randomly attaching themselves to other things. Especially Ninja Squid. That made way too many campfires invisible. We're.. still dealing with that. To make things even better, DJ Octavio's decided to take this opportunity to use his newfound freedom to reorganise Octarian forces and deliberately use the gear malfunctions to inflict soldiers with abilities. AND Squidbeak hasn't done anything yet.

We're in trouble and there's no one who gets that better than the inventor. The faceless man-behind-the-scenes took initiative and started up a 'Clean-Up Crew' to handle all of these cases themselves. All we can guarantee of the future is trouble.
