6th Battalion 66th Infantry Regiment

Operations every Saturday 20:30CET/14:30EST.

Airborne/Air Assault/Light Infantry Focus
Semi-Milsim

Platoon-based Combat Operations.

Light Infantry, Stryker Crewman, Medic Roles available.

What makes us Different:

Other units are over ambitious. They want tanks, and tons of pilots, and then it's three dudes on the ground playing infantry.

This isn't ACE Combat, this isn't DCS or World of Tanks. We fight on the ground because that's where it's at.

You'll see actual squads fighting together, fireteams manuevering, squads communicating. Our scope is small but it's brutal.

We want our members to interact, to chat. We don't want a thousand pilots competing for kills or a ton of tanks driving around wiping out everything.

We clear buildings, mined obstacles, ambush convoys, and fight inch-by-inch.

You can feel the difference when you have a tight group that loves to laugh, and a group that has their entire force spread out across the map that you'll never see.

Look, the answer is clear. Come be a part of something. Not just some lone ranger experience you could get on any public server.

Be different. Be an infantryman.

I ended up joining the 6-66th Infantry Regiment for Arma 3 milsim. You know, the whole "missions," "tactics," "pretending radios matter" thing, you know the deal. And somehow, I ended up staying for the people, which, by the way, is super annoying because I’m not exactly the type of person to go around calling people I meet online "family." But, you know, here we are.

So, yeah, you get good, well-made missions by a dedicated mission maker and Zeus. You get good teamwork, and it’s not chaos 24/7 (okay, not always). But honestly, the best part about this unit are the people. Real conversations, real laughter, and people who actually check in on you, not because it’s "community policy," but because they actually care.

The community itself is a crazy mix of people: active or former military, reenactors, tech geniuses, and actual nerds from all over the globe.

TL;DR: Joined Arma 3. Stayed because 6-66th somehow managed to turn a milsim unit into a second home.

If you like playing Arma 3 in Mil-Sim style, and want to meet new, like minded people, join at once.

Not only you will play detailed missions made by resident mission maker and Zeus, you will also make new friends, who will be there for you, even in off-game and personal matters. Srsly, never before i considered guys i met online friends, until i got onboard this unit. They come from all walks of life, and from every corner of the word, and are willing to bright your day anytime you need.

From real life active, or retired, military personal, to reenactors, tech guys, and nerds of all specs. All of the above and many more will happily talk to you about any topic, crack jokes or help with anything you may need.

TL:DR
Came for Arma, stayed for the comunity.
